The Platform facilitates the voluntary restitution of cultural property to its country or community of origin. The Platform intervenes at the request of individuals in possession of items of cultural heritage that are likely to have been stolen, dispossessed, or illicitly trafficked, even if they were not directly responsible for their spoliation.
