Restitution Study Group (RSG)

This not-for-profit institute in New York, founded by Deadria Farmer-Paellmann in 2000, examines and executes innovative approaches to healing the injuries of exploited and oppressed people.

The RSG partners with community advocates to bring about positive change through: litigation, legislation, genealogy and DNA research, and direct action. RSG has tried to stop the return of Benin bronzes, arguing that part of it should remain in the US.
