NIAS seeks scholars who are willing to ask bold questions, challenge conventional thinking, and engage deeply with their research and each other. This is more than a research institute – it is a place where you can experience, learn, and help protect academic freedoms.
Applications are open until 17 March 2025 (12:00 CET).
To maintain sound selection procedures, NIAS will cap the 2025 Open Call for Fellowships at 215 applications for the first time. This cap does not apply to applicants from the so-called Global South.NIAS
