Would you like to help make a difference in a socially relevant heritage story?
Kina, the nature museum for children in Ghent, preserves an ethnographic collection of 1,399 objects, many with colonial origins from Congo.
As a staff member investigates the provenance of these objects, the museum asks fundamental questions: What does this collection mean today in a children’s museum? How does it relate to our mission? And what can it mean for Ghent’s super-diverse society?
As project coordinator participatory appreciation path, you will lead an inclusive process in which these questions are examined together with residents, associations and partners.
Deadline: 9 June 2025
