Tabot of Ethiopian Orthodox Church reconsecrated

During an impressive and moving ceremony in the Church of Battersea in London, an ancient Tabot was reconsecrated.

The film shows the solemn moment of the Tabot – covered by precious clothes – is carried into the church, and numerous men and women cheering, gospels singing, praying, drumming and dancing.

Jacon Gnisci of University College London had discovered the religious item when it was to be sold.
